About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Tap4Review platform, operated by Construction Media Limited (registered in England and Wales), First Floor, City Centre, Swan Buildings, 20 Swan Street, Greater Manchester, M4 5JW.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

What Tap4Review Does

Tap4Review is a review management platform designed for trade and construction businesses. It allows you to send SMS review requests to your customers, manage your Google Business Profile reviews, and track your online reputation — all from one dashboard.

Your Account

You must sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old and operating as a legitimate business to use this service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tap4Review only for lawful purposes. In particular, you must not:

• Send review requests to people who have not had a genuine interaction with your business
• Use the platform to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or harassing messages
• Offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews (this violates Google's policies)
• Attempt to manipulate, fake, or purchase reviews
• Upload customer data you do not have the right to use
• Use the platform in any way that violates UK GDPR or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR)

You are responsible for ensuring you have a legitimate basis to contact your customers via SMS. We recommend keeping a record of customer consent or the job/transaction that justifies the contact.

Subscription and Payment

Tap4Review is offered on a subscription basis. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and are charged in GBP. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected billing interval (monthly or annual).

Your subscription begins after a free trial period. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time before that. After the trial, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Free Trial

New accounts receive a free trial period. No payment is required to start. At the end of the trial, you will need an active subscription to continue using the platform. We will notify you before your trial ends.

SMS Messaging Responsibilities

When you use Tap4Review to send SMS review requests, you are the data controller for your customers' personal data. You must ensure you have a lawful basis to contact them. Construction Media Limited acts as a data processor on your behalf.

SMS messages are sent via third-party providers (currently GoHighLevel / MyCRMSim). Standard network delivery rates apply. We cannot guarantee delivery of every message, as this depends on the recipient's network and device.

Intellectual Property

The Tap4Review platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Construction Media Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or resell any part of it without our written permission.

Your data — including your business name, customer lists, and review content — remains yours. We do not claim ownership of any data you upload or generate through the platform.

Limitation of Liability

We provide the platform in good faith and aim for high availability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Construction Media Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including loss of revenue or reputation.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us during that period.

Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from the Settings page or by emailing us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for up to 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export anything you need.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
